Black LGBTQ+ Annual Funding
Every June, in celebration of Pride Month, we launch a microgrant to support Black LGBTQ+ women and non-binary individuals. This funding helps nurture budding businesses, creative projects, community initiatives, and innovative ideas from our community. The recipient of the microgrant receives a monetary award, which varies annually based on donations. If you’d like to support this initiative and help amplify queer Black voices, please consider donating.
Applications reopen June 1, 2025.

Previous Winner: Black Girl Collective
Based in Vancouver, BC, Black Girl Collective is a registered nonprofit that holds space and advocates for the joy, visibility, and inclusion of self-identifying Black women—cisgender, transgender, femme, non-binary, two-spirit, and other marginalized individuals. Through vibrant social events, local business support, and community education, they continue to build powerful, inclusive spaces.
Black Women in Leadership Award
The Black Women in Leadership Award honors a Black woman who is making a meaningful impact in her community. With this award, we aim to recognize and celebrate the incredible, and often unsung, contributions of Black women and non-binary individuals around the world—whether in business, advocacy, art, or community development.
Applications for the 2025 award will be announced soon.
